The Samsung Galaxy S8 is much better than the Honor 9X Pro, getting a overall score of 81.7 against 71.9. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S8 is way older than Honor 9X Pro, it's construction is extremely lighter and somewhat thinner. Galaxy S8 has a processing unit that's just as good as Honor 9X Pro's processing unit, and although the Galaxy S8 has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Galaxy S8 counts with a better looking screen than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution. Honor 9X Pro counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8, because it has 256 GB internal storage and an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB.
Honor 9X Pro counts with better battery duration than Galaxy S8, because it has a 33% greater battery capacity. The Honor 9X Pro shoots much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low light photos, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Honor 9X Pro also counts with a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a back camera with way more MP and higher video frame rates.
