The Sony Xperia 1 II has a general score of 91, which is a lot better than the Honor 9X Pro's overall score of 71.9. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia 1 II has 11 version and Honor 9X Pro has Android 10. Although Sony Xperia 1 II and Honor 9X Pro were only released 1 months apart, Sony Xperia 1 II is thinner and somewhat lighter.
The Sony Xperia 1 II features a sharper display than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a lot greater amount of pixels per display inch. Xperia 1 II features a bit better processor than Honor 9X Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 II also has a greater amount of RAM.
Xperia 1 II counts with a bit bigger storage to store more games and applications than Honor 9X Pro, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal storage, the Xperia 1 II also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB. The Sony Xperia 1 II's battery duration is just as good as the Honor 9X Pro one.
The Honor 9X Pro captures a bit better videos and photos than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a smaller camera aperture and a smaller sensor giving a lower image quality, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Honor 9X Pro also counts with a much better 48 MP resolution camera in the back.
