Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is much better than the Honor 9X Pro's 71.9 overall score. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, way thicker and somewhat heavier phone than the Honor 9X Pro. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much sharper screen than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way better screen pixel density and a lot better 2160 x 3840 resolution.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Honor 9X Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 6 GB RAM. Honor 9X Pro takes slightly better videos and photos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same aperture, the Honor 9X Pro also has a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, higher 60 frames per second video frame rates and a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
The Honor 9X Pro counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB and 192 GB more internal storage. Honor 9X Pro counts with a bit better battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
