Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a general score of 77.5, which is a bit better than the Honor 9X Pro's 71.9 overall score. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is an extremely older and just a little heavier phone than the Honor 9X Pro, but Xiaomi was able to make it somewhat thinner anyway. The Honor 9X Pro has a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a bit larger screen, a bit better pixel amount per inch in the display and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340.
Honor 9X Pro features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Honor 9X Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. The Honor 9X Pro has a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Honor 9X Pro also has a way larger sensor capturing much higher quality photographs and videos, a much more megapixels camera in the back, a larger aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light environments and faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The Honor 9X Pro features a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has 256 GB internal storage and an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has better battery life than Honor 9X Pro, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery size.
