Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is slightly better than Honor Magic 6 Pro's 76.6 general score. Galaxy A8 Star is a somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner phone than the Honor Magic 6 Pro. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version and Honor Magic 6 Pro has Android 14 version.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Honor Magic 6 Pro also has more RAM. The Honor Magic 6 Pro has a slightly better screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a little bit bigger display, a quite higher pixels density and a better 1280 x 2800 pixels resolution.
Honor Magic 6 Pro features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. Honor Magic 6 Pro counts with a much better battery performance than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 51 percent more battery capacity.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro counts with a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same video quality, the Honor Magic 6 Pro also has better 60 fps video frame rates, a way larger back camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photographs and videos, a larger camera aperture to take better images and video in low-light environments and a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
