Xiaomi Mi 8 is much better than Honor Magic3 Pro, having an 83.3 score against 72.8. Both phones we are comparing here use Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 8 has an older 10 version while Honor Magic3 Pro has Android 11 version. The Xiaomi Mi 8 construction is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Honor Magic3 Pro, although it was released 3 years before.
The Honor Magic3 Pro has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Honor Magic3 Pro also has more RAM. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Honor Magic3 Pro, although it has a just a little less pixels per screen inch, a bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2248px.
Honor Magic3 Pro counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light photography and videos, it also counts with a much larger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a back camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 and Honor Magic3 Pro both count with extremely similar memory for applications, games, photos and videos, they have the same 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Honor Magic3 Pro has a way better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 35 percent more battery size.
