Comparison review
The HTC Desire is slightly better than the HP Pre3 GSM, getting a general score of 50.6 against 46.1. The HTC Desire body is somewhat lighter and noticeably thinner than HP Pre3 GSM, even though it was released around 12 months before. The HTC Desire counts with Android 2.2 OS, while HP Pre3 GSM counts with webOS 2.2 OS.
HP Pre3 GSM has a bit better processing power than HTC Desire, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit and a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Single-Core processing unit. The HP Pre3 GSM counts with a little sharper screen than HTC Desire, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 800 x 480px resolution, the HP Pre3 GSM also counts with a little better pixels quantity in each inch of screen.
HP Pre3 GSM has a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than HTC Desire, although it has no slot for an SD memory card. HP Pre3 GSM takes slightly better photos and videos than HTC Desire. Both of them have a back-facing camera with a 5 MP resolution. HTC Desire counts with a little longer battery lifetime than HP Pre3 GSM, because it has a 1400mAh battery size against 1230mAh.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the HTC Desire is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
