HP Pre3 GSM Review

HP Pre3 GSM is a decently made cellphone released some years ago, in 2011, including a 3.6-inches multi touch display, a 1400 MHz processing unit, and two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera. Let's take a closer look at what this device has to offer.

This cellphone is quite thick compared to nowadays cellphones, being as thick as 0.63 inches. This cellphone feels a bit heavyweight for a cellphone of this size, with a weight of 5.5 oz.

HP packed the HP Pre3 GSM with a nice 3.6-inches screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes all pictures and movies look very good.

This cellphone is equipped with a powerful processor running at 1400 MHz and 512 MB of RAM. The HP Pre3 GSM counts with an 8 GB quite large internal storage and though it doesn't count with an SD memory card expansion slot, it should be enough to install a couple hundred games and applications, but it may not be suitable if you are fan of the heaviest games available nowadays.

The HP Pre3 GSM provides Wi-Fi connection (and it can be shared with other devices acting as a wireless modem or router) and 3G fast connectivity, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.

This device has two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. This phone can also capture videos in 1280x720 (HD). This camera also counts with a couple of useful features like auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

This cellphone also includes a couple of interesting characteristics as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The HP Pre3 GSM uses a 1230 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion removable battery providing this phone with a quite short battery life.

The HP Pre3 GSM is not cheap at all considering it is priced 299 dollars, and other similar cellphones are a lot cheaper than that.
