Kyocera Torque is a mid-to-low level Android cellphone launched some years ago, in 2013, having a 4-inches multi touch capacitive screen, a fast Dual-Core CPU speeding at 1.2 GHz, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 1.3 megapixels front-facing camera. Let's take a closer look at what this phone can give us.
Kyocera ships this phone with a fast 1200 megahertz Dual-Core CPU, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chip and 1 GB of RAM. To collaborate with graphic calculations, it also uses an Adreno 225 graphic processing unit clocking at 400 MHz.
In this case, Kyocera decided not to care about this phone weight at all, releasing it with a 5.5 ounces weight. This device is a very compact device, considering it presents a 4 inches display and it only has 4.44 inches long. The Kyocera Torque is a bit thick for current standards, with a thickness of 0.56 inches.
Kyocera packed the Kyocera Torque with a nice 4" screen, and a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels that compose the screen. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. This camera also has a high number of great characteristics like flash, auto-focus, face detection shooting, fast burst mode, smile detection shooting, HDR mode and geo tagging.
The Kyocera Torque includes WiFi capability (and it can provide it to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high speed connection type and 3G connectivity, over EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM networks and it can work with CDMA networks.
This phone also comes with a couple interesting features like Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (4.0, EDR) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone has a 2500 mAh long lasting Li-Ion battery, enough to provide this phone with an extremely long battery duration.
Kyocera is offering this cellphone for $ 250, which is not a good offer for this type of cellphone.
