IPhone 7 Plus has a general score of 83.8, which is much better than the HTC 10's 75.7 overall score. IPhone 7 Plus's construction is somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner than HTC 10, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. Apple iPhone 7 Plus counts with a bit faster processor than HTC 10, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 4 cpu cores.
The HTC 10 has a bit sharper display than iPhone 7 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. IPhone 7 Plus features a slightly bigger memory capacity for games and applications than HTC 10, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The HTC 10 features just a little better battery performance than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a 3% greater battery capacity. HTC 10 features a bit better camera than iPhone 7 Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, a same size aperture and a back camera with a 12 megapixels, the HTC 10 also has higher 120 fps video frame rate and a lot bigger sensor shooting much better quality videos and photographs.
Although iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC 10. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPhone 7 Plus, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the HTC 10, letting go a couple features and specs.
