The LG G5 is a bit better than the HTC 10, getting a 76.1 score against 75.7. LG G5's design is thinner and a bit lighter than the HTC 10, although they were released only 1 months apart. LG G5's processing unit is very similar to the HTC 10 one, both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.
The HTC 10 counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG G5, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1440 x 2560 resolution, the HTC 10 also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen. The HTC 10 and the LG G5 both count with incredibly similar memory to store more games and applications, both of them have a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and the same internal storage capacity.
HTC 10 has a little longer battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity. The HTC 10 features just a bit better camera than LG G5, because although it has a back camera with a much worse 12 megapixels resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, and they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the HTC 10 also counts with a bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC 10. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy LG G5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the HTC 10, letting go some specs and features.
