Comparison review

The Xperia XZ1 has a score of 78.3, which is slightly better than the HTC 10's general score of 75.7. Xperia XZ1's design is newer, thinner and just a bit lighter than the HTC 10. The HTC 10 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a same size screen, the HTC 10 also has a higher quantity of pixels per inch of display and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.

Xperia XZ1 counts with a greater storage to install applications and games than HTC 10, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB, the Xperia XZ1 also has 32 GB more internal storage. The Xperia XZ1 counts with a little bit better performance than HTC 10, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia XZ1 also has 4 more CPU cores.

The HTC 10 counts with a bit superior battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh. The Sony Xperia XZ1's camera is just as good as the camera in HTC 10, because although the Sony Xperia XZ1 has lower video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing pictures or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a same size sensor, it also counts with a way more mega pixels back facing camera.

Although Sony Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC 10. If you want to save some money, you can buy the HTC 10, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
