The Moto Z works with Android 8.0 Oreo OS, while HTC Butterfly 2 comes with Android HTC Sense UI OS. Moto Z is a way thinner and a little lighter phone than HTC Butterfly 2. HTC Butterfly 2 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z, because although it has 2 GB less RAM, and they both have 4 cores, the HTC Butterfly 2 also counts with a GPU.
