HTC Butterfly 2 Review

HTC Butterfly 2 is a high-level cellphone, coming with an extremely fast Quad-Core processor ticking at 2.5 GHz, a pretty large 5" multi touch capacitive screen, and 2 cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 5 megapixels front side camera. The HTC Butterfly 2 is quite a compact phone, considering it packs a 5 inches display and it is only 5.72 inches long. The HTC Butterfly 2 is extremely slim, with a thickness of just 0.39". The HTC Butterfly 2 is much lighter than what one would expect from a device of this size.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front side camera. It is capable of shooting Full HD 1920x1080 videos. This camera also features a couple of nice characteristics like flash, auto-focus, HDR mode, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone packs an awesome 2700 mAh Li-Polymer non-removable battery that can keep it running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it. An issue to take into consideration is that this cellphone's battery is not removable so you can't change it when it starts to have trouble holding its charge, although with so much capacity you will probably discard this phone before that happens.

The HTC Butterfly 2 includes Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot), HSPA+ (4G) connectivity, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSDPA technologies. The HTC Butterfly 2 works with a Nano SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This phone also includes many cool characteristics such as Near Field Communication (NFC), Infrared Port, Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

HTC is offering this phone for 629 dollars, which is high for comparing with similar phones.
