HTC Butterfly 2 Review

HTC Butterfly 2 is a powerful Android HTC Sense UI phone, with a great Quad-Core processor clocking at 2.5 GHz, a pretty big 5 inches multi-touch screen, a 13 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 5 megapixels front facing camera.

This cellphone is slim and good-looking, with a thickness of just 0.39". This cellphone is only 5.72" long and 2.76" wide, but it is still able to fit a a 5" display. HTC has made a great design job making the HTC Butterfly 2 as lightweight as 5.33 ounces.

This phone includes a great 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) 5 inches display, which makes all images and videos look perfect. This display uses S-LCD 3 capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

HTC decided to build this cellphone using an extremely powerful 2.5 GHz Quad-Core processor, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 system chip and a huge 2 GB RAM memory. Helping with graphic rendering, it also has an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit ticking at 450 MHz. This device has a 32 GB amazing internal storage and an external memory slot, which allows the user to install lots of apps, games, pictures and videos without thinking about running out of space.

This device includes wi-fi capability (but it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem), HSPA+ (4G) connectivity, that is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and 3G fast internet connection, over HSDPA technologies. This cellphone uses a Nano SIM card for GSM networks.

The HTC Butterfly 2 is equipped with two cameras, a 13 megapixels back camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. It is also able to shoot videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). In addition, this phone's camera also includes a few good characteristics like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

This phone features an inmense 2700 mAh Li-Polymer non-removable battery that can keep this phone running for several hours without charging it at all. An issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery isn't replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins to lose capacity, although with its 2700 mAh you will probably discard this phone before it becomes a real problem.

This cellphone also comes with many great features such as NFC, Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth (for communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.
