Apple iPhone 5s Review

Apple iPhone 5s is a wonderful iOS phone launched back in the year 2013, coming with an exceptional 1300 megahertz Dual-Core CPU, a 4" screen, an 8 megapixels back camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front camera. Is that all? Not at all, it's only the introduction of a detailed review.

Apple offers the iPhone 5s in three different color options, black, gray and gold. Being just 0.3 inches thick,the Apple iPhone 5s is very thin and practical. Talking about its body materials, the Apple iPhone 5s is majorly made with Aluminium, which gives a top level finish and improved resistance. It appears that Apple forgot about weight optimization in this 3.95 oz phone.

This phone is equipped with an exceptional 1300 megahertz Dual-Core 64 bit processing unit, packed into an Apple A7 chip with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little poor for such a great phone. Graphic intensive games and applications generally eats a lot of CPU cycles, so this phone uses a 600 MHz PowerVR G6430 GPU to help the processor with those tasks. An excellent aspect of this phone is its astonishing 64 GB internal storage and though it doesn't include an external memory slot, it is still enough to install tons of applications, games, songs, pictures and videos without having to worry about how much storage capacity is left.

This phone has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back camera and a 1.2 MP front camera. Its back camera lens has an aperture of F2.2 so it can shoot impressive photographs even in dark conditions. The Apple iPhone 5s can also film videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second, and HD 1280x720 slow motion videos up to 120 fps. To complete the camera, it also features a lot of interesting characteristics like flash, fast burst mode, auto-focus, digital image stabilization, face detection shooting, time lapse video, HDR mode and geo tagging.

This cellphone has a gorgeous 1136 x 640 4" screen, which makes everything look amazing. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, with a great 500 cd/m2 brightness and is multi-touch enabled.

The iPhone 5s has WiFi capability (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high speed data connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, which is a slower 4G type and fast 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device uses a Nano SIM card to use GSM services and it can connect using both CDMA and GSM networks.

This phone also comes with some interesting characteristics as Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This phone features a 1570 mAh medium sized Li-Ion non-removable battery, which is quite poor for a thirsty cellphone like this. According to Apple, this cellphone has an aproximate 250 hs stand by time and a 10 hs talk time. An important issue to take into consideration is that this phone's battery is not removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins losing capacity, having to buy a new device to "solve it".

This cellphone is probably a bit expensive considering it is offerred for $ 205, while some similar cellphones cost a bit less than that. No matter if you want a cellphone to play games, want it for work, you love taking pictures or will use it mainly for social networks, you will probably love this phone.
