Apple iPhone 5s Review

Apple iPhone 5s is a breath-taking phone launched in September 2013, packing a very powerful 1300 megahertz Dual-Core 64-bit CPU, a medium sized 4 inches multi touch screen, and two cameras, an 8 MP back side camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front-facing camera. Let's take a closer look at what this phone offers to us.

Apple decided to design the Apple iPhone 5s using an exceptional 64 bits Dual-Core processor clocking at 1.3 gigahertz, included in an Apple A7 chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little low for a phone of this quality. Graphic calculations usually uses lots of CPU time, so it also has a PowerVR G6430 graphic processing unit ticking at 600 MHz to improve overall performance. This cellphone has a huge 64 GB internal memory and whereas it doesn't have an SD extension slot, it is still enough to store tons of apps, games, songs, photos and videos without worrying about running out of space.

Regarding its materials quality, this device is majorly made of Aluminium, which gives it a premium look and a better resistance. This cellphone isn't very light comparing with today standards, with a weight of 3.95 oz. Apple made this cellphone in 3 different color options, black, gray and gold. This phone has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.3 inches.

Additionally, this cellphone's camera also includes lots of cool characteristics like flash, auto-focus, fast burst mode, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization, time lapse video, HDR mode and geo tagging.

The iPhone 5s counts with a 1570 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that provides this phone a quite short battery duration. According to Apple, this phone has a reported talk time of 10 hours and a stand by time of 250 hs. A big issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery is non-replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it starts to last shorter, having to buy a new device to "solve it" or hopefully take it to someone who can open the cellphone and replace the battery.

This device has wifi connection (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G fast connectivity and also HSPA+ data connection, that is a bit slower 4G variation and 3G fast data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a Nano SIM card for GSM carriers and it can use both CDMA and GSM carriers.

The Apple iPhone 5s also includes a few nice features such as Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This phone is priced around 260 dollars, quite high for a device this level.
