Comparison review
The HTC One M9 has a global score of 77.7, which is much better than the HTC Butterfly S's global score of 66.2. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but HTC One M9 has 5.0 version and HTC Butterfly S has Android 4.4. HTC One M9 is a a little lighter and a bit thinner phone than the HTC Butterfly S.
The HTC One M9 has a superior processing power than HTC Butterfly S, because it has a greater number of faster cores, a 64-bits processor, 1 GB more RAM memory and a much better GPU. The HTC One M9 has a slightly better display than HTC Butterfly S. They have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, a greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a screen of the same size.
The HTC One M9 captures much better pictures and videos than HTC Butterfly S, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way more megapixels back-facing camera, a lot bigger camera sensor shooting way higher quality photographs and videos and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The HTC One M9 has a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than HTC Butterfly S, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB and 16 GB more internal storage capacity. The HTC Butterfly S counts with a bit superior battery life than HTC One M9, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh.
The HTC One M9 costs a bit more money than HTC Butterfly S, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
