Galaxy S8 has an overall score of 81.7, which is way better than the HTC Butterfly S's 66.2 global score. The Galaxy S8 is a a little lighter and noticeably thinner cellphone than the HTC Butterfly S. Galaxy S8 features just a bit better performance than HTC Butterfly S, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM memory.

The HTC Butterfly S counts with just a bit better looking display than Galaxy S8, although it has a quite smaller display, a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a just a bit lower display pixels density. The Galaxy S8 counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC Butterfly S, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.

HTC Butterfly S counts with a bit superior battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 7 percent greater battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S8 takes way better photographs and videos than HTC Butterfly S, because it has a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a way higher 12 MP resolution camera in the back, a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photos and a larger aperture to take better captures and video in low light environments.

In addition to being the best phone in this comparison, the Galaxy S8 is also cheaper.
