The Xperia Z3 has a score of 77.3, which is much better than HTC Butterfly S's 66.2 overall score. The Xperia Z3 is a thinner but just a little heavier cellphone than HTC Butterfly S. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Z3 has the newer 4.4.4 version and HTC Butterfly S has Android 4.4 version, so it provides a lot of extra features.

Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a bit superior CPU than HTC Butterfly S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z3 also has a faster 450 MHz GPU and a greater amount of RAM memory. Xperia Z3 has a little bit better looking screen than HTC Butterfly S, because although it has a bit lower screen density, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a bit larger screen.

The Xperia Z3 captures much better pictures and videos than HTC Butterfly S, and although they both have a F2 aperture, the Xperia Z3 also has a way better resolution back-facing camera, a lot larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. Xperia Z3 features a much bigger memory for apps and games than HTC Butterfly S, because it has 32 GB internal storage and an external SD slot that allows up to 128 GB.

The Sony Xperia Z3 has a battery lifetime that's just as good as the HTC Butterfly S one.
