The Galaxy M31 has a global score of 86.5, which is much better than HTC Desire 10 pro's general score of 74.3. The Galaxy M31 construction is noticeably newer than HTC Desire 10 pro's, but it is somewhat thicker and heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy M31 has 11 version and HTC Desire 10 pro has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a bit better processor than HTC Desire 10 pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy M31 has a slightly better looking screen than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has a little bit more pixels per inch in the display, a larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution.
HTC Desire 10 pro counts with much more memory to install applications and games than Galaxy M31, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the HTC Desire 10 pro also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Galaxy M31 captures way better photographs and videos than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has a way larger sensor shooting much higher quality videos and pictures, a larger camera aperture and a back camera with a way higher resolution.
The Galaxy M31 has a way better battery performance than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
