Huawei P40's construction is a lot newer and thinner, but just a little heavier than the HTC Desire 510.
The Huawei P40 has a little better performance than HTC Desire 510, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor and a 32-bits CPU against 64-bits, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Huawei P40 counts with a much better display than HTC Desire 510, because it has a bigger display, a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a much better amount of pixels per screen inch.
The Huawei P40 counts with a lot better camera than HTC Desire 510, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with a much higher resolution. Huawei P40 has a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than HTC Desire 510, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 120 GB more internal memory.
The Huawei P40 has a way better battery lifetime than HTC Desire 510, because it has an 81% bigger battery size.
