HTC Desire 510 Review

HTC Desire 510 is a good quality phone released back in the year 2014, coming with a 4.7 inches multi-touch screen, a high speed 64-bit Quad-Core processor ticking at 1200 megahertz, and two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera. HTC decided to design this cellphone using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 system chip, including an extremely powerful Quad-Core processing unit running at 1200 megahertz with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a bit disappointing for such a solid cellphone. Graphic rendering generally uses lots of CPU cycles, so it also uses a 450 megahertz Adreno 306 graphic processing unit to help with that calculations. This device comes with an 8 GB quite big internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, which allows the user to install a couple hundred apps and games without any trouble.

It appears that HTC forgot about weight optimization in this 5.57 oz phone. This phone is incredibly thin and comfortable, being just 0.39" thick. This device is sold in a nice range of color variations, black, gray, blue and white.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. This device also captures videos in Full HD 1920x1080. This cellphone also counts with geo tagging.

This cellphone has a very good 854 x 480 4.7 inches display, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels composing the display.

This phone features a 2100 mAh great Li-Polymer battery providing this device a quite long battery duration.

The HTC Desire 510 includes Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a modem), 4G HSPA+ data connection, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and 3G fast connectivity, supported by HSDPA technologies. The HTC Desire 510 works with a Micro SIM card for GSM connection and it can use both GSM and CDMA networks.

This device also comes with a few useful features like Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Navigation and FM Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

HTC offers this cellphone for $ 249, which is very expensive for comparing with similar phones. No matter if you are looking for a social phone, are looking for a gaming device or are looking for a phone for work, you will probably be very happy with it.
