Comparison review

Xperia Ion is a little bit better than the HTC Desire 516, with a 61.3 score against 55.8. Xperia Ion's body is just a bit lighter but just a little bit thicker than HTC Desire 516. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Xperia Ion has the older 4.1.2 version and HTC Desire 516 has Android 4.3.

Xperia Ion has a more vivid display than HTC Desire 516, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better count of pixels per screen inch and a higher 1280 x 720 resolution. The Xperia Ion counts with a much better memory capacity for games and applications than HTC Desire 516, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 32 GB, the Xperia Ion also has 12 GB more internal memory.

Sony Xperia Ion features a better camera than HTC Desire 516, because it has a camera with much more mega-pixels and a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
