The HTC One M9 has an overall score of 77.7, which is a lot better than HTC Desire 601's 61.1 score. The HTC One M9 is a newer and just a bit thinner phone than the HTC Desire 601, but it is also heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the HTC One M9 has a newer 5.0 version and HTC Desire 601 has Android 4.4.2 version, providing a lot of extra features and increased performance.
The HTC One M9 has a lot better performance than HTC Desire 601, because it has a faster 600 megahertz graphics co-processor, 2 GB more RAM, 6 more CPU cores and a 64-bit processing unit. HTC One M9 features a lot better screen than HTC Desire 601, because it has a lot higher 1920 x 1080 resolution, a much better count of pixels per screen inch and a little larger screen.
The HTC One M9 features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC Desire 601, because it has 24 GB more internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
