Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket is just a bit better than the HTC Desire 601, having a global score of 67 against 61.1. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket has an older 4.1.2 version while HTC Desire 601 has Android 4.4.2. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket is older and just a little bit heavier than HTC Desire 601, it's design is still a little bit thinner.

The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket has a bit more vivid display than HTC Desire 601, although it has a little lower amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a little worse 800 x 480 resolution, they both have a display with the same size. Galaxy S II Skyrocket features a greater memory for games and applications than HTC Desire 601, because although it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 16 GB internal memory capacity.

HTC Desire 601 counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy S II Skyrocket, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory and 2 processing cores, the HTC Desire 601 also has an extra graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket shoots much better pictures and videos than HTC Desire 601, because although it has a much tinier aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and video in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket also counts with a bigger sensor providing a better image quality and a camera with much more mega pixels.

The HTC Desire 601 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy S II Skyrocket, because it has a 2100mAh battery capacity.

Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy S II Skyrocket is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it a great choice.
