Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi 5 is just a bit better than HTC Desire 601, with a 67.2 score against 61.1. These phones use Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi 5 has a newer 7.1 Nougat version while HTC Desire 601 has Android 4.4.2 version, giving some nice extra features and optimized performance. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 construction is extremely newer and notably thinner, but heavier than HTC Desire 601.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 features a bit more powerful processor than HTC Desire 601, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. Xiaomi Redmi 5 counts with a screen that is very similar to the screen in HTC Desire 601, although the Xiaomi Redmi 5 also has a larger screen, a way better 720 x 1440 resolution and a little more pixels per inch of screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 captures a lot better videos and photos than HTC Desire 601, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 also counts with a back camera with a way higher resolution. Xiaomi Redmi 5 has a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than HTC Desire 601, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than HTC Desire 601, because it has a 57% bigger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, Xiaomi Redmi 5 is also a bargain compared to the other phones, making this phone a no doubt choice.
