Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite is better than HTC Desire, getting a score of 67 against 60.6. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite has newer 7.0 Nougat version while HTC Desire has Android 4.4 version, so it provides some nice extra features. Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite counts with a bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC Desire, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite also has more internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite has a way better battery lifetime than HTC Desire, because it has 3080mAh of battery capacity against 2040mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite counts with a greater camera than HTC Desire, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite also has a much better 13 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a larger aperture.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite costs a bit more than HTC Desire, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
