Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Amp Prime 3 has newer 8.0 Oreo version and HTC Desire has Android 4.4 version, providing the user lots of additional features and performance improvements. The Galaxy Amp Prime 3 body is extremely newer and a little bit thinner, but just a bit heavier than HTC Desire.
