Comparison review

The Galaxy Nexus has a global score of 64.3, which is just a bit better than the HTC Desire's 60.6 global score. Galaxy Nexus's construction is just a little lighter and a little bit thinner than the HTC Desire, although it was released 2 years before. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Nexus has older 4.3 version while HTC Desire has Android 4.4 version.

HTC Desire features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the HTC Desire also has 2 more cpu cores and a faster graphics co-processor. Galaxy Nexus features a brighter display than HTC Desire, and although they both have a same size screen, the Galaxy Nexus also has more pixels per inch of display and a lot higher 1280 x 720 resolution.

The Galaxy Nexus takes a bit better pictures and videos than HTC Desire, although it has a lot less MP resolution back camera, a lower (Full HD) video definition and a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing images or videos in poorly lited environments. HTC Desire features a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Nexus, because although it has just 8 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 128 GB.

HTC Desire counts with a bit superior battery performance than Galaxy Nexus, because it has a 2040mAh battery size instead of 1750mAh.

Galaxy Nexus not only is the best phones of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones, making it very easy to pick between these phones.
