Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi 4a has a global score of 65.8, which is a bit better than the HTC Desire's 60.6 global score. Xiaomi Redmi 4a's body is notably newer, a bit lighter and thinner than HTC Desire. Both phones in this comparison review include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi 4a has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and HTC Desire has Android 4.4 version.
HTC Desire features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi 4a, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC Desire also counts with an additional graphics processor. Xiaomi Redmi 4a has a little more vivid display than HTC Desire, because it has a higher display pixels density, a way better 720 x 1280 resolution and a little bit bigger screen.
Xiaomi Redmi 4a captures greater videos and photos than HTC Desire, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi 4a also has a much better 13 megapixels resolution camera and a bigger aperture to take better photos in low-light situations.
Xiaomi Redmi 4a features more memory to install applications and games than HTC Desire, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi 4a also has more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi 4a has a much better battery performance than HTC Desire, because it has 3120mAh of battery capacity against 2040mAh.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Xiaomi Redmi 4a is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
