Comparison review
The HTC Desire 626 is a bit better than Kyocera Hydro Elite, with a general score of 62.7 against 59.6. The HTC Desire 626 body is extremely thinner but a bit heavier than Kyocera Hydro Elite. Both of these devices include Android OS, but the HTC Desire 626 has the newer 4.4.4 version and Kyocera Hydro Elite has Android 4.1.
The Kyocera Hydro Elite counts with a slightly better looking screen than HTC Desire 626, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 720, the Kyocera Hydro Elite also counts with a bit greater screen pixels density. HTC Desire 626 counts with more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Kyocera Hydro Elite, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the HTC Desire 626 also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
HTC Desire 626 has just a little better performance than Kyocera Hydro Elite, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores , a 64 bits CPU and a much better 450 MHz graphics processing unit. Kyocera Hydro Elite features just a bit better battery duration than HTC Desire 626, because it has a 5 percent bigger battery capacity.
Kyocera Hydro Elite captures slightly better photographs and videos than HTC Desire 626, although it has a camera with much less mega pixels, a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and videos and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
The HTC Desire 626 and the Kyocera Hydro Elite cost exactly the same, making this phone a very good choice.
