HTC Desire 626 Review

HTC Desire 626 is a high-end Android device, featuring a comfortable 5-inches multi touch display, a high speed 64 bits Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1400 megahertz, and two cameras, a 13 MP back camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera.

The HTC Desire 626 feels much lighter than what you expect from a device of this size. This phone has an inspired design, with a thickness of just 0.32 inches. While this device only has 5.78" long, it is able to fit a a 5 inches display.

HTC packed this phone with a nice 5 inches display, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, making everything look great.

HTC ships this phone with a high performance 1400 MHz Quad-Core 64 bits CPU, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 chip with only 1 GB RAM which is a little disappointing comparing with its great processor. Graphic calculations generally eats lots of processing time, so it has an additional Adreno 306 GPU running at 450 MHz to take care of them, leaving the CPU free for other tasks. A nice point of this phone is its big 16 GB internal memory and an SD memory slot, which allows you to store hundreds of apps and games without running out of space.

This cellphone offers wifi capability (although it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot). This phone works with a Nano SIM card to use GSM services.

This device has two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 5 mega-pixels front facing camera. This phone also films Full HD 1920x1080 videos. The camera also includes a few nice characteristics like auto-focus, flash, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

The HTC Desire 626 also features a few nice features like Bluetooth (for communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone uses a medium capacity 2000 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that provides the HTC Desire 626 a below average battery life. HTC informs a 20.5 hs talk time and a 800 hs stand by time for this phone.

HTC offers this cellphone for 95 dollars, which is rather expensive for a cellphone this level.
