Samsung Galaxy Nexus CDMA is a great cellphone released in 2011, featuring a Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1.2 gigahertz, a 4.7" screen, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. That's everything we have to say? Not at all, it's just the tip of the iceberg.
Samsung ships this phone with a TI OMAP4460 chip, backed up by a great performance 1200 megahertz Dual-Core CPU and 1 GB RAM. Helping with graphic intensive apps, this phone also uses a PowerVR SGX540 GPU ticking at 384 MHz. This cellphone counts with a 32 GB awesome internal memory and although it doesn't have a slot for an external memory card, it is still enough to install hundreds of applications without even thinking about how much memory is left.
This cellphone isn't very light for a device this size, with a weight of 5.29 oz. This device is quite a compact phone, taking into consideration it features a 4.7 inches display and it is just 5.33" long. This cellphone is incredibly slim, being just 0.37" thick.
This phone features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera. this phone's back side camera lens has a maximum 2.8 aperture so it struggles to take sharp pictures in dark situations. It is also able to shoot 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 fps. This camera also features a couple of good features: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.
The Nexus CDMA is equipped with a great 1280 x 720 (HD) 4.7" screen, making everything look absolutely great. Its screen uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
The Nexus CDMA has Wi-Fi capability (although it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high speed connectivity and 3G internet connection, using EV-DO A technologies. The Nexus CDMA doesn't use a SIM card, because it's not a GSM enabled phone and it can connect to CDMA carriers.
This cellphone features a 1850 mAh medium Li-Ion replaceable battery providing the Nexus CDMA with a not very long battery duration. This phone has an estimated 12 hs talk time and a 150 hours stand by time according to Samsung.
This phone also comes with a couple cool features like NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your device close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.
Samsung is offering this phone for 95 dollars, which is quite close to other same level cellphones. If you are an amateur photographer, are looking for a social phone, need a device for gaming or want a work cellphone, this cellphone is definitely the right choice for you.
