Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL Review

Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL is a quite good phone launched many years ago, counting with an enormous 5.5" multi touch screen, a fast processor ticking at 1.1 gigahertz, an 8 megapixels back camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. But let's get into some more detail.

The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8909 210 chip, holding a good performance processing unit ticking at 1100 megahertz with a large 2 GB of RAM memory. A good advantage of this cellphone is its quite big 16 GB internal memory and an SD extension slot, allowing you to store hundreds of games and applications without any problem.

This cellphone is just available in color gray. Even though this cellphone just has 5.98 inches long, it's still able to fit a a 5.5" screen. This phone is just 0.37 inches thick, making its way into the thinnest phones podium. Alcatel has made a really good job making this phone as lightweight as 6.1 oz.

The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera. It can also capture videos in HD 1280x720 at 30 fps. Additionally, the camera has a few nice features: auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

Alcatel equipped this phone with a nice 5.5" screen, and a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD), making everything look very good. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone uses a high capacity 2500 mAh battery providing the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL an incredibly long battery life. According to Alcatel, the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL has an estimated 12 hours talk time and a 360 hours stand by time.

This phone has wifi capability (and it can be provided to other devices acting as a wireless modem), 4G (LTE) high performance connectivity and fast 3G connection type, using HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

This phone also comes with a couple of nice features like Bluetooth (4.1) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is probably a little bit overvalued considering it is priced $ 95, and other similar phones are being sold for less than that. This phone is probably the correct choice if you want a social phone, are looking for a gaming cellphone or want it for work.
