Galaxy S6 Edge has an overall score of 81.8, which is a lot better than the HTC Desire EYE's global score of 65.6. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version and HTC Desire EYE has Android 4.4.4, providing the user some extra features. Even when Galaxy S6 Edge and the HTC Desire EYE were released only a couple of months apart, Galaxy S6 Edge is lighter and thinner.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a more vivid display than HTC Desire EYE, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch in the screen and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a better performing CPU than HTC Desire EYE, because it has an extra graphics co-processor, a greater number of cores , more RAM memory and a 64 bits processor.

HTC Desire EYE has a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 128 GB. Galaxy S6 Edge captures clearer photos and videos than HTC Desire EYE, because it has a bigger aperture for better low light photography and videos, a lot higher (4K) video resolution and a better 16 megapixels resolution back camera.

Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit better battery duration than HTC Desire EYE, because it has an 8% bigger battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit more expensive than the HTC Desire EYE, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
