Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has a global score of 72.1, which is a bit better than HTC Desire EYE's 65.6 general score. Xiaomi Redmi Y1 is a a lot newer device, and it's also a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter than HTC Desire EYE. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has the newer 7.0 Nougat version while HTC Desire EYE has Android 4.4.4, providing some nice extra features and some performance improvements.
HTC Desire EYE features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, although it has less processing cores and lesser RAM. The HTC Desire EYE has an incredibly better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way greater pixels number per inch of screen and a lot higher resolution of 1920 x 1080px.
Xiaomi Redmi Y1 takes much clearer photos and videos than HTC Desire EYE, although it has a tinier camera aperture, they both have a back-facing camera with a 13 mega-pixels resolution, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate. The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 counts with a very superior storage to store more apps and games than HTC Desire EYE, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 also has 48 GB more internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Y1 counts with longer battery lifetime than HTC Desire EYE, because it has a 3080mAh battery size.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 is not only the best phones of the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
