The Huawei Ascend P1 has an overall score of 56.9, which is a bit better than the HTC Desire HD's 51.9 overall score. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Huawei Ascend P1 has a newer 4.0.3 version while HTC Desire HD has Android 2.3.5 version, offering a lot of extra features and optimized performance. Huawei Ascend P1's design is newer, a lot thinner and lighter than the HTC Desire HD.

Huawei Ascend P1 features just a little better hardware performance than HTC Desire HD, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. The Huawei Ascend P1 counts with a bit sharper screen than HTC Desire HD, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Huawei Ascend P1 also has a quite better quantity of pixels in each screen inch and a slightly better 960 x 540 resolution.

The Huawei Ascend P1 counts with a much better memory capacity for games and applications than HTC Desire HD, because it has 4 GB internal storage. The Huawei Ascend P1 takes a little bit better photos and videos than HTC Desire HD, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the Huawei Ascend P1 also has a lot better (Full HD) video resolution.

Huawei Ascend P1 has a much better battery performance than HTC Desire HD, because it has a 1670mAh battery capacity instead of 1230mAh.

Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Huawei Ascend P1 is also very cheap compared to the other phones, which makes it very easy to pick between these phones.
