LG Optimus Sol is a bit better than the HTC EVO Shift 4G, with a global score of 53.1 against 48.4. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the LG Optimus Sol has the newer 2.3.4 version and HTC EVO Shift 4G has Android 2.2 version, providing the user some extra features. The LG Optimus Sol body is extremely lighter and much thinner than HTC EVO Shift 4G, even though they were only released 8 months apart.
The LG Optimus Sol features a little better processing power than HTC EVO Shift 4G. They have the same RAM memory amount, the same number of cores and a 245 megahertz graphics processing unit. The LG Optimus Sol and HTC EVO Shift 4G have extremely similar screens, because although the LG Optimus Sol has a just a little lower screen pixel density, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, it also counts with a little bit larger screen.
The LG Optimus Sol takes a lot better photographs and videos than HTC EVO Shift 4G. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a same resolution back facing camera and the same (HD) video definition. LG Optimus Sol has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC EVO Shift 4G. They have a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB.
LG Optimus Sol's battery lifetime is just as good as HTC EVO Shift 4G's battery lifetime.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, LG Optimus Sol is also a lot cheaper, which makes it a great choice.
