Galaxy S4 is a lot better than HTC First, with a overall score of 76.1 against 62.5. Even though Galaxy S4 and HTC First were released only a few months apart, the Galaxy S4 construction is thinner but also a little bit heavier. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S4 has newer 4.4.2 version while HTC First has Android 4.1 version, so it provides the user a lot of extra features and performance tweaks.
The Galaxy S4 counts with a much better display than HTC First, because it has a way higher 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, a greater pixels density and a bigger display. The Galaxy S4 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC First, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy S4 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with just a bit better performance than HTC First, because although it has a weaker GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and more cpu cores. Galaxy S4 has better battery performance than HTC First, because it has 2600mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy S4 features a very superior camera than HTC First, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S4 also counts with a lot better 13 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
The Galaxy S4 is a little more expensive than the HTC First, but you can get a much better phone for that extra dollars.
