HTC First Review

HTC First is a very solid phone released back in the year 2013, featuring a medium sized 4.3-inches multi-touch screen, a very fast Dual-Core processing unit speeding at 1400 megahertz, and two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 1.6 megapixels front-facing camera.

HTC sells this phone in many different colors: black, blue, red and white. HTC did an amazing job making this device weight only 4.37 ounces. This phone only has 4.96 inches long and 2.56 inches wide, but it still manages to hold a 4.3" display. This cellphone is just 0.35" thick, making it one of the thinnest phones in the market.

The HTC First is equipped with an amazing 1280 x 720 (HD) 4.3-inches display, which makes everything look vivid and colorful. Its display uses S-LCD 3 capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

HTC decided to design this cellphone using an exceptional Dual-Core processing unit speeding at 1.4 GHz, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 system chip and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little poor considering its great processor. Graphic rendering often eats lots of CPU processing time, so it has an extra Adreno 305 GPU ticking at 450 MHz to help the processor with those tasks. The HTC First has aquite big 16 GB internal storage and whereas it doesn't have an SD card slot, it should be enough to store a couple hundred applications and games, but it may not be enough if you are planning to install some of the largest games currently available or taking tons of photos and videos.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.6 MP front-facing camera. It is also able to capture videos in Full HD 1920x1080. To complete the camera, it also includes auto-focus and flash.

This device includes wifi capability (and it can be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G high speed connection type and the fastest 3G data connection, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC First uses a Micro SIM card to use GSM services.

This cellphone also comes with a couple of interesting characteristics such as NFC, Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth phones, computers and accessories) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This phone packs a medium 2000 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery that can keep this cellphone running for many hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily. HTC says this phone has a talk time of 14.3 hs and a stand by time of 437 hours.

HTC is offering this cellphone for 129 dollars, which is quite a high price for this type of cellphone. The HTC First is definitely the correct option for you no matter whether you are looking for a cellphone to play games, you love taking photos, are looking for a social device or want a phone for work.
