The LG G3 is just a bit better than the HTC One (E8), getting a 76.4 score against 70. These devices have Android OS, but the LG G3 has the newer 5.0 version while HTC One (E8) has Android 4.4.2 version, providing the user some additional features. Although LG G3 and the HTC One (E8) were released with only 0 months difference, the LG G3 construction is thinner but a little bit heavier.

LG G3 counts with a better looking screen than HTC One (E8), because it has a bit larger screen, a bit greater amount of pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
