Comparison review

The Galaxy S4 is a little bit better than HTC One (M8), getting a general score of 76.1 against 70.4. Galaxy S4's design is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than HTC One (M8), although it was released just 13 months before. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy S4 has older 4.4.2 version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0.

The HTC One (M8) and the Samsung Galaxy S4 both feature similar displays, they have the same amount of pixels in each screen inch, exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a same size display. The HTC One (M8) features a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores, the HTC One (M8) also has a much better GPU working at 450 megahertz.

HTC One (M8) counts with slightly more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the HTC One (M8) also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Galaxy S4 features a bit better camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor, lower video frame rate and a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and video, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy S4 also counts with a much more MP camera.

Galaxy S4 counts with a battery duration that is very similar to the battery life in HTC One (M8).

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy S4 is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
