Huawei Mate 9 Pro is slightly better than HTC One (M8), getting a 78.7 score against 71.6. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a a lot newer and thinner cellphone than HTC One (M8), but it is also just a little heavier. These devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has 8.0 Oreo version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0, offering some extra features.
HTC One (M8) features a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although it has a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, a little less pixels per inch of screen and a quite smaller screen. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a much better storage capacity for apps and games than HTC One (M8), because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro takes better pictures and videos than HTC One (M8), because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a bigger sensor taking higher quality photographs and a back-facing camera with a much better 12 megapixels resolution.
