Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the LG V30S ThinQ has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version, offering a lot of extra features and some performance improvements. The LG V30S ThinQ design is way newer, just a little bit lighter and a lot thinner than HTC One (M8).
