Comparison review
The iPhone XS Max has a score of 84.5, which is much better than HTC One (M8)'s overall score of 71.9. Even though iPhone XS Max is much heavier than the HTC One (M8), it's thinner and also incredibly newer. IPhone XS Max counts with a little faster CPU than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores , a 64 bits processor and a higher amount of RAM.
HTC One (M8) has a slightly better looking display than iPhone XS Max, although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a way smaller display and a little lower pixels count in each inch in the display. The HTC One (M8) counts with a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Apple iPhone XS Max, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 128 GB.
The iPhone XS Max shoots much clearer photos and videos than HTC One (M8), because it has a larger camera aperture to capture better photography in poorly lited situations, a camera with a way higher 12 megapixels resolution, a bigger back camera sensor taking higher quality pictures and a lot higher (4K) video definition.
IPhone XS Max counts with longer battery duration than HTC One (M8), because it has 3179mAh of battery capacity.
Although Apple iPhone XS Max is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One (M8). If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the HTC One (M8), giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
