Google Pixel XL is much better than the HTC One (M8), having an 81.3 score against 71.9. Even though the Google Pixel XL is a little bit heavier than the HTC One (M8), it's a little thinner and notably newer. The HTC One (M8) features a bit better processing power than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One (M8) also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

HTC One (M8) counts with a little bit better display than Google Pixel XL, although it has a bit smaller display, a little less pixels per inch of screen and a lot worse 1920 x 1080px resolution. Google Pixel XL counts with a superior memory to install applications and games than HTC One (M8), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

Google Pixel XL features improved battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has a 33 percent larger battery size. Google Pixel XL takes much better photos and videos than HTC One (M8), and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Google Pixel XL also has a camera with a lot better 12.3 megapixels resolution, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot better (4K) video definition.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC One (M8), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC One (M8). If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy HTC One (M8), letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
