Galaxy Note Edge has a general score of 81.7, which is better than the HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 global score. Both phones in this comparison review work with the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so they should offer identical operating system features. The Galaxy Note Edge body is thinner but a little heavier than the HTC One (M8), and both were released with only a couple of months difference.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a bit more vivid screen than HTC One (M8), because it has a bit more pixels per inch of screen, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a quite larger display. The HTC One (M8) and the Galaxy Note Edge both feature quite similar storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both of them have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB and the same internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Note Edge counts with a little bit better performance than HTC One (M8), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a faster graphics processor and a higher amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a much better camera than HTC One (M8), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting images and videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a much more megapixels camera.

The Galaxy Note Edge has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has a 15% bigger battery size.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge costs more money than HTC One (M8), but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
