Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Review

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a breath-taking device launched back in the year 2014, with a really big 5.6" display, an extremely powerful 2700 MHz Quad-Core processor, a 16 mega-pixels back camera and a 3.7 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

Samsung decided to power this device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 APQ8084 system chip, backed up by an extremely fast 2.7 GHz Quad-Core processor and a great 3 GB RAM. To collaborate with graphic calculations, it also uses an Adreno 420 graphics processing unit working at 500 megahertz. The Note Edge has a 32 GB huge internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, which allows you to install hundreds of applications and even the largest games currently available without even thinking about filling it.

Samsung sells this device in black and white. Whereas this phone is only 5.96" long, it is able to fit a a 5.6" display. Being just 0.33" thick,the Note Edge is extremely thin and practical. The Note Edge is much lighter than what one would think about a cellphone this size.

Samsung designed this cellphone with a spectacular 5.6 inches display, and a 2560 x 1440 (Quad HD / 2K) resolution, which makes it impossible to even distinguish the pixels in the display. Its display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This device is equipped with two cameras, a 16 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 3.7 MP front camera. Its back-facing camera lens has a 2.2 aperture so it can capture detailed pictures even in low-light environments. It is capable of shooting videos in 4K 3840x2160 at 30 frames per second. In addition, the camera features a lot of amazing characteristics: flash, fast burst mode, auto-focus, digital image stabilization, face detection shooting, optical image stabilization, smile detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

This cellphone packs a 3000 mAh great Li-Ion removable battery, enough to provide the Note Edge with a marvelous battery duration.

This cellphone offers WiFi capability (and it can share it with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE-A high speed data connection and also HSPA+ connection type (which is a bit slower 4G variation) and the fastest 3G data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Note Edge works with a Micro SIM card for GSM services and it can work with both CDMA and GSM carriers.

This phone also features many cool features like Fingerprint Reader, NFC (Near Field Communication), Infrared Transmitter, Bluetooth (4.1) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

This phone costs about 400 dollars, not so cheap for this kind of cellphone.
