Comparison review

The Galaxy A71 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note Edge, getting an 87.5 score against 81.7. The Galaxy A71 body is much newer and a little bit thinner, but also just a little heavier than Galaxy Note Edge. Both phones in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy A71 has a newer 11 version and Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0, so it offers a couple additional features and performance enhancements.

Galaxy Note Edge features a much better display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and more pixels per display inch. Galaxy A71 has a superior memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 96 GB more internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has an inferior number of cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy A71 has a superior battery life than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 features a very superior camera than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a much better 64 MP resolution back-facing camera, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing way higher quality photographs and a larger diafragm aperture.

Galaxy A71 costs a bit more money than Galaxy Note Edge, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
